SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Skill Development Project
Overview
SEVA’s Skill Development Project is a cornerstone of our livelihood enhancement efforts, designed to equip women and youth from disadvantaged communities with practical, market-oriented skills. Launched as part of our ongoing commitment to women’s empowerment and youth entrepreneurship, the project addresses unemployment and poverty in rural and urban areas of Coastal Districts of Andhra Pradesh.
By providing hands-on training in diverse trades, we enable participants to start micro-enterprises, secure jobs, or supplement family incomes. In recent years, we have trained over 810 individuals, with a focus on Tribal-dominated mandals and municipalities. This initiative aligns with SEVA’s vision of self-determination and sustainable development, turning skills into pathways for dignity and prosperity.
